The center of Industrial Resources , Materials and Glass is a LLC (Limited Liability Company) created in 1996.

1994-1995: It was registered a considerable growth of technical services through the research works of Glass's Laboratory of the University Montpellier II (The mixed unity of research 5587) Thanks to the CNRS`s (National Scientific Research Center) support it started to develop services devoted to glasses.

1ST of June 1996 : The potentiality of such a center was evidenced. Consequently a licence and a cooperation agreement were signed between Prime Verre and the University Montpellier II. This agreement specified the general tasks regarding the cooperation between Prime Verre and the academic structures. Financial supports have allowed to appoint researchers -(ANVAR- The French National Agency of Research Development),and to buy suitable equipment (DRRT-Regional Department for Research and Technology).

1ST of January1998 : End of the cooperation agreement between the company and the University. The company moved to the Parc d`Ateliers Technologiques du Millenaire (The center of Technologies of Millenaire) in 100 m2 surface. Prime Verre expended the field of its activities and completed the offered technical services.
